2nd TSAC meeting
24 January 2011

In the 19th January, the team of the project gathered in Évora with elements of the Technical and Scientific Advisory Commission (TSAC), to discuss issues related with the mapping and definition of priority areas to the implementation of measures targeted at the conservation of the Iberian lynx and the Black Vulture in the project’s area of intervention. These measures include, for example, the construction of artificial nests for Black Vulture or the establishment of corridors of Iberian lynx habitat within super-intensive olive yards in the Site of Moura/Barrancos.
The TSAC team demonstrated, once more, the reason for its existence in this type of projects, having contributed with relevant comments to the development of conservation actions in the field.
